-What You Can’t See-
Personality: Megaera is a nervous creature, tending to imagine the worst in situations due to her slight paranoia, though with training she has learned to suppress or otherwise hide this fact. Her jealousy is easily provoked, but she is also very skilled at provoking jealousy in others. Though she is partially blind in her left eye, her form and figure are otherwise almost flawless and in the past she has used this to her advantage whenever possible, no matter who it hurts. Her sire taught her well how to use what she has to her best advantage. She was once absolutely loyal to her father and would do anything for him. However, in recent times, she has learned a great deal and no longer does that absolute loyalty to her father remain.
History: Meg never knew her mother, the mare who brought her into the world having died shortly thereafter. She was taken in by her father, Dillon, who raised her - his slave, Broken, serving as wet-nurse to the filly for as long as she needed it. Throughout her young life she has been undergoing training by her sire, preparing to take on the world.
The murder of her sire cut all such plans of taking on the world short, replaced by Meg's intense drive to avenge her father. Through careful study of the brute she was able to identify as the one to give her father the deathblow, she formulated a drastic plan to make him suffer as he had caused her to suffer. She went so far as to make Romeo a part of her plot - after furiously raking him over the coals for being a useless ally to her father - going so far as to plot with him her own rape once the time was right to further her goals. Her intent was to gain the affections of Talen's son, to have him fall for her, and then when the time was right, to not only break his heart, but to kill him. Thus bringing suffering upon Talen, for she had seen how Quantico was the only one he really cared about and whose harm would bring the dappled brute the most suffering.
One thing she was not counting on... Namely, the chance that she might fall in love with the boy who was intended to be a pawn in her schemes.
Life with Quantico and his family was different from anything she had ever known before. And Q himself was different from any boy she had ever known. Somewhere along the line, things changed. No longer did she feel the deep, abiding hatred of Talen. Instead, she felt deeply for Q. More deeply than she truly wanted to admit for quite some time. Until at last, she came to a point where no longer did she want revenge. She just wanted to spend the rest of her life with Q. Her excuse is that Talen has vanished and revenge is pointless, but even she knows deep down inside that it has less to do with Talen and far more to do with her feelings for Quantico.
It seems that Romeo has discovered her folly and there will be consquences...
