Personality: His defining feature is the protectiveness he shows for his mother. Losing so many family members, particularly after the trauma experienced early in this life, has left him very worried that something might happen to her as well. He would do anything to keep her safe and happy, and he wants more than anything to find them a home where she can be happy again.

History: Kaden was born as a result of the Lead, Kieran, losing control of his body to an entity within named Ronan, who raped his mother, Sapphire. Traumatic as this experience was for her, she hid away most of the time. He saw little of his real father during his first year of life, for his mother avoided Kieran (and Ronan especially), for the most part. His older half-brother, Burnt Moon, was more of a father to him than his own ever was. Since the death of most of the family, to a strange disease that wiped out nearly everyone -- and nearly took Kaden's own life -- he has been extra protective of his mother, fearful that something will pull her away as well.

A surprise meeting with none other than Kieran led to some unforeseen consequences.  Namely, that Kaden wanted to meet his father.  While it was Kieran's body that had been involved in siring him, Kaden knew by this point that it had been the dark entity sharing Kieran's body, Ronan, that had been the one responsible for forcing his mother.  The one who was truly his father, though he has always wished that his older half-brother, Burnt Moon, could have been his sire instead.  At any rate, he had questions he wanted answers to and so he made his request.  While Kaden could see how much it worried his mother, he feels compelled to find the answers to his questions.  Yet he will not allow himself to be corrupted by Ronan, knowing that it would distress his mother deeply and it would not honor the memory of his brother, whom he looks up to even though he has passed away.
